Hi:
I´m trying to install a debian sarge on a proliant 1600 with 4 scsi of 9,1 GB (RAID 5).
I have some problems: first, the installer only detects a Compaq array of 18,2 gb and when I try to continue the installation (it´s a netinstall), the installer can´t reach the source over internet.
Anybody knows a guide or a document which could help me?
There is a boot disk for the proliant 1600.

You may need to boot off it and configure the disks again.

If thats not needed, see that the gateway address is good and pingable prior to the install.

SEP

The hd are ok. I have used the smart start 5.5 and there is an array of 4 scsi disks, with one of them configured to be used as hot spare, so here there is no problem.

the problem are the network interfaces which doesn´t work properly
