    <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;i have added a new 36 hdd on my existing linux server. the partition that i made is as sdd1 and sdd2.when i give the command fdisk /dev/sdd2 i get the error message unable to seek on /dev/sdd2 what is the possible reason for this.&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;ravi</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;why are you using command fdisk /dev/sdd2 ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you want to do partitions or to change id you must use fdisk /dev/ssd&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
