    <description>Whilst probably not exactally what you're after, you could try looking at the systems on offer by HP's 'testdrive' program.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See &lt;A href="http://www.testdrive.hp.com/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.testdrive.hp.com/&lt;/A&gt; for details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;They have at least one Opteron available for testing purposes running Linux (see the list of 'Current Systems').</description>

      <description>Hello all!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At our company, we're a database solutions company, and we have our own database program that allows us to do queries quicker than Oracle in our own little niche market.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We've hit a performance problem with the P4 processor due to it's tiny L1 cache compared to the P3. With this in mind, we'd like to do a little testing of the DL585 whose Opteron processor has a much more generous amount of Cache.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;While this is a cheeky question, you can only ask! Does anyone have a non-production DL585 that we can run performance tests of our own binaries? This will allow us to compare with our DL580's to see which way we should really go!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks to any generous people who may reply!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;M</description>
