Like to learn Linux..

Hi guys,
I wanna learn linux (Suse) online. Is there any helpful site or tutorial which can guide me to learn it. plzz note that I have never been to it before.Neither i have ever seen a linux desktop nor having any knowledge of unix. I just wanna learn it right from scratch u can say.

I am sure I will be able to do it provided I get to some basics of linux. your thoughts and suggestions are whole heartedly welcome.

The first item probably comes with a copy of Suse. You can install that on a computer and begin the learning process.

Browsing through the forums here and elsewhere will be helpful as well. Also look at dedicated Linux forums such as www.linuxquestions.org. There are many others out there. google can help find the URLs for these forums

hi,

books? books? forums? ...

download any version of linux and simply start playing with it. If you can install any software, then you can install Linux.
If you have no spare disk have a look at Knoppix, Lindows, ... which are CD-based versions of Linux.

And then extend your knowledge by reading and studying the books.
