is there a way to install the supoort pak for 8.0 on 9.0 or when is a support pak for 9.0 going to be avialble .. also same question about enterprise server 3.0 ( i know it is not released yet)

what do you mean when you refer to support pak? I have not heard of the term before? If you mean the rpm packages, you can install it via "rpm -Uvh " or rpm -Fvh ".

Compaq offers support packs that update all the drivers and associated HP utilities on your server

There have been a number of threads regarding this, and to tell you the truth, I cannot recall if anybody has scucessfully done this.

Given that HP do not officially support RH9, I'd say no.
