      <description>put floppy disk in&lt;BR /&gt;run this command "mkbootdisk"&lt;BR /&gt;by default it writes to /dev/fd0&lt;BR /&gt;test out the boot disk.</description>

      <description>Since you do not mention which distro you are interested in...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using SuSE you can create a boot disk using yast in the system menu</description>

      <description>You also don't mention whether you want the bootdisk to boot a single machine, or any machine.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;The process is different depending on the answer.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;The 'mkbootdisk' command that was given is good for booting the machine it was created on, or of a machine where you know where the root HDD partitions are.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;If you are wanting to boot another machine though, you'll need to find a different tool</description>
