      <description>No problem at all apart from the fact that some modern hardware such as video cards and such might not be supported.</description>

      <description>I have a Redhat 6.2 Installation CD, it doesnt work some python error. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;even you make the machine up with 2.2.14 kernel, it cant recognize the architecture, &lt;BR /&gt;uname -m gives i?86. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;chakri</description>

      <description>You can do it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Why is a question that comes to mind.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Red hat 6.2 is not supported. Unless you have a n app that speficially requires it, its like buying a 1986 Toyota. It might run nice, or it might not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There are security vulnerabilities that can not be dealt with.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>rh6.2 is sure small and lean and mean, but is also very old. it would not be so bad for the packages, but i can image you could run into problem with a 2.2.14 kernel on a i686 machine!&lt;BR /&gt;even though if you could get it running, rh6.2 would probably not meet your expectation since there are a lot of packages missing that are included by default on all distros now.&lt;BR /&gt;if you need a lean and mean distro you can give debian a try, else i suggest going with the latest rh or fedora release to save you a lot of problems.</description>
