Can be hosted on Windows or Linux (IA32) or HP-UX (PA and IPF) and can monitor any combination.       <description>Consider nagios which is the reworked netsaint.&lt;BR /&gt;Use the web interface from Windows.  It provides agents for your servers and allows fine grained control over who gets notified how.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also consider mon which is  a lighter weihght tool similar to netsaint.  It is perl based and might run under window.  It also offers web based access to its status monitors.</description>
