Congrats to Linux thread Balaj and point givers.

I looked at the Linux thread and for the first time saw more than half the screen was filled with bunnies.

I can't remember ever seeing that again.

This means the thread is getting a little more mature, following ettiquette guidelines.

Balaj made the top five and deserves congrats.(Nobody ever congratted me ;-) )

Here is the deal.

This is a three point thread except for Balaj he gets a ten spot for chiming in. You get two extra points if I check your profile and find your point assignment ratio is 100% One extra if its above 90%.

So before you post in, clean up your answer records to get the extra points.

Oi! I'm sure I congratulated you (in a thread somewhere here) on making the top 5! :) Knowing me however it probably had a complaint thrown on the end of it too (answering all the questions before I can get here) :P

Bunnies.. Yes, I saw that this morning and was thoroughly shocked! It was the first time I saw bunnies on all the posts of my screen (before scrolling down), 7 of 'em in a row.

I'm just so happy that people are providing this sort of feed back to the helpers and users here. Thank you all for that!

Now, I've said it once, but I'll say it here again.

Congratulations Balaji! Glad to see you up here in the top 5. The place wouldn't be the same without your insight and knowledge.

Congratulations Balaj - and to you too SEP - you've helped me out a lot even when I havn't asked the question.

I'm glad this forum is maturing as SEP put it... I participate mainly in the HP-UX forum becuase this one tends not to have as much activity. But that seems to be changing slowly... I've noticed it's been busier lately as it seems more and more companies are going with linux.

congrats to all who participate here.... and in the fourum in general...

First of all thanks to all for congratulating me. I learn a lot from these forums and the Open source community and thrive to give back whatever i can.

Yes, i have been noticing this forum and the activity here is growing. The no of questions out here and the bunnies prove that all.

A hardy congrats on reaching the top 5 list. As the Linux forum starts to get more popular, it will be increasingly more difficult to keep that status, but it must feel nice to be one of the first in this growing area.

Keep up the great work and you may very well stay in the upper echelon of the Linux forums for a long time to come ;-)

When (and if) I find it again, I will provide the link. I would hate to have Steven???s feelings all bruised up thinking that he wasn???t recognized???

Speaking of bruised feelings Steven, how is it that my 100+% point assignment ratio gets me less points than Pete ???The Point Monger??? Randall? Are you angry at me for something? Wouldn???t you agree that I???m AT LEAST as big of a point monger as he is?? ;-(

Don't worry about bruising my feelings.

There were congratulatory messages but they were in a thread I created.

Its okay. I've never earned a point in a Linux congrats thread, because I think I started them all.

My 990 poins are all earned the hard way, trying to solve problems, answer questions, make good jokes, etcetera.
