    <description>I recommend you to use Connectix Virtual PC instead of VM. I had lots of problems with VM regarding X-server but none with Virtual PC.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Luck.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have Vmware on my pc (virtual pc )&lt;BR /&gt;I try to install Linux 9.1 on my notebook Presario 2500 model 2500AP, thru Vmware but it cannot detect my monitor..so I cannot get the x windows..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What I can do to overcome this problemm..can I download driver for this monitor&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Sri</description>

      <description>Red Hat has a limited number of hardware configuarations that it supports.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the generic monitor does not work for you then X-Windows is out of the question.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could do a text based install and do everything from the comamnd line, no X at all.  That would prevent you from using any of the cool GUI apps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The first thing I always do before installing Red Hat is check hardware support at the manufacturer of the PC and &lt;A href="http://www.redhat.com" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.redhat.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
