    <description>I've not messed around with Mondo archive, but I recall that it uses CD-ROM media for the backup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Everything except for the writing-to-the-cd should work without any hitches.  Writing to the CD depends on what version of OSR you have, and what type of burner you are using.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OSR &amp;lt; 5.0.7 = won't work with an IDE burner. Period.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If I recall correctly, it also uses the 'cdrecord' packages.  Make sure you have an up to date version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You might be able to get Mondo to create ISO images of which you can trasnfer to another machine to burn off.</description>

      <description>Though you could just compile the source and test it, I think the binaires can not be relied on to back up a SCO system.  Different opensource platform, different layout on the disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
