Are you running RH with a 2.4.18/19 kernel?
If so the CD-Rom is most likely an IDE and that bug has been fixed since.

I'm getting this at my console after installing the latest hpasm and hpprm agents. I'm running a Proliant M370 G3 and have no HD attached to the IDE bus, although I think there is a CD-ROM attached but that may be SCSI.

Anyone know what it means?

Jim

James,

Yes I am running 2.4.18-24.7.xsmp. I've been runnign it for sometime though and don't recall the error message. I did upgrade to the new hpasm, so maybe that is it.

Can't upgrade kernel until the 5302 and net drivers have been certified for them. I think 18-24 is highest kernel they support at the moment.

Jim
