I have just managed to get just about everything working on a not very linux compliant notebook. So, I have made a page explaining how I did it (I found such pages by other people very helpful) and I want to make it available to other people. Does anyone know where I could host it, currently I am thinking of using geocities, but are there any better sites on the net that will host informative pages related to linux for free?

You might want to get onto the guys/gals at http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/ and contribute it to their existnig archive.

can't see a better place than linux on laptops as Stuart Pointed. Addition you could write a mini-howto and submit it to the LDP.
