<title>topic Red Hat 9: Extending File Systems in Operating System - Linux</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/red-hat-9-extending-file-systems/m-p/3038870#M76159</link>
<description>I recently purchased and installed Red Hat 9. I need to extend several of the file systems. I would like to dynamically extend each of the file systems without taking them off line (That is like HP UX Product "Advance Online JFS"...nice product). How can extend a file system while online? Is there a feature within Red Hat 9 to extend file systems dynamically? Is there a good "How To" document in the ITRC outlining LVM functions (that is, such as extending and reducing file systems....like HPUX LVM)? Thanks</description>
