Hi Tony

Is only with this distro that this error message occurs ? Because you can try install a early edition - like 8.0 for example .

Hope this helps

Fabio

Anyone have a successful install of linux (mandrake 9.0) on XT375? I've tried several times but run into problems with Mandrake recognizing the partition table. It says that it's "too corrupted for me". I've even purchased PartitionMagic and made the partions and still get the same output from Mandrake.

Is there something wrong with my harddrive?

If you've successfully installed on XT375, I'd like to hear from you.

Fixed.

I downloaded the Mandrake install iso images and wrote them to disk using the laptop and it's CDRW/DVD drive. (Before I had downloaded and wrote the iso images from another compter).

I was able to install Mandrake 9.1 with no problems. Once Mandrake is available for purchase, I'll be in line. I really like this distribtion! It recognized all my devices and installed everything without a hassle (usb, firewire, video, wireless network, etc).
