xvfb is specific for HP-UX.

What you need to do is run the Xconfigurator on Red Hat to set up the X server.

You may need to get the rpm's for the x86 X server from http://www.redhat.com

Here it is:
http://www.redhat.com/swr/i386/XFree86-Xvfb-4.3.0-2.i386.html

sEP

I'm wrong. Xvfb has been done or ported for Solaris and other Unix distributions.

My prior post however will work with red hat and get you going with oracle. I strongly recommend an update to Red Hat 7.3

SEP

Run Xconfigurator as told by Steven.

On Redhat RPM site, get XFree86-Xvfb-4-1.1.0-49.RHEL.i386.rpm file & install using
# rpm -ivh XFree86-Xvfb-4-1.1.0-49.RHEL.i386.rpm.

To let it start while system boots, make a file /etc/rc3.d/S91xvfb & link it to /etc/init.d/xvfb.

Put following line in xvfb file :
/usr/X11R6/bin/Xvfb :15 -screen 0 6x6x8 -pn -fp /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc -sp /etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy 2>&1 &
