      <description>/etc/syslog.conf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#start&lt;BR /&gt;*.*   @&lt;IP_LOGGING_HOST&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#end&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This rule would redirect all messages  to  a  remote  host with ip=&lt;IP_LOGGING_HOST&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Sergejs&lt;/IP_LOGGING_HOST&gt;&lt;/IP_LOGGING_HOST&gt;</description>

      <description>You can configure this in /etc/syslog.conf.  man syslog.conf for more details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Edit the /var/log/messages to your favourite location with hostname followed by @.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;Umapathy&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>For syslogging, especially over the network, I can recommend syslog-ng. It can use TCP for them and has advanced filter capilities against standard syslog.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Look on &lt;A href="http://www.balabit.com/products/syslog_ng/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.balabit.com/products/syslog_ng/&lt;/A&gt; for it.</description>
