cat | tr -d '\r' | tr -d '\032' should do the same as dos2ux..

just search for the sources and compile f u dont find the RPM.

else,
try
1. cat filename.dos | tr -d '\015' > filename.unix
2. col -bx < dosfile > newfile
3. if vim is installed, a) vim dosfile.txt b) :set ff=unix c) :wq

Found a version here. Have not tested it tho.
