This is flres.java.Sun.COM and it is to busy at the moment (to many links)

It would perhaps be more easy to tell us what you need perhaps we know where this can be had elswhere ?

They're either having a network problem or a too many user problem.

They do have mirror sites. Perhaps they are listed on the sun.com website.

while ftp to java.sun.com does indeed not work for me too the download via http://java.sun.com works without problems for me.

I've just downloaded the J2SE/Netbeans bundle via http from their server. Is using http an alternative for you?

Martin, I really need FTP. I just tried to download the file via http on my computer and then ftp it to the server i'm building. It's downloading now, currently at 20 percent.... Thanks
