After one week the "date" time stops and the server hangs. The hwclock runs normal. <BR />After hard reboot the "date" time runs normal. <BR />In two ather installations with the same configuration, we have also this problem. I know that 2.4.9-34 is the current recommended kernel for redhat 7.2 (which looks like what you're running).
