want to study kernel.. any easy written website?

hi..
i'm a csi major sophomore
meaning ....that i don't have much knowledge about computer internal..

i 'm trying to read "understanding the linux kernel"
but seems like not effective way since i'm struggling with even chapter one..

anyone can suggest me really easy well written web site about linux or unix kernel?
