Info on installing ntp on Linux

Hello all,

I am very new to this linux server. I need to know where I can find some documents or any kind of help that will give me information on how to install NTP from scratch. Actually a step by step process on how to install ntp on linux will be very helpfull. Please help me. Your help will be greatly appreciated and have a wonderul day.
