    <description>The bits in the 2.4.3 kernel are a lot older than the user-level LVM stuff you probably DL'd.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I followed the instructions for beta6 and they works wonderfully.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lvm-iop10-lib-0.9.1_beta6-1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mike</description>

      <description>I was just getting ready to do a similar thing.  The word is that it's "fully integrated" under the 2.4 kernel, but it's probably anyone's guess what the term means.  From a little research I was able to find a website with all sorts of info, although some of it appears to be out of date (see &lt;A href="http://sistina.com/lvm/" target="_blank"&gt;http://sistina.com/lvm/&lt;/A&gt; ).  Not a real direct answer to your problem, but there are probably very few RH 7.1 owners/users yet.</description>

      <description>I've download the LVM 0.9.1-Beta7 from this web site, and follow the installing instructions, but I think I will need to work some time to get it work.  I let you know by this way what I get.</description>
