      <title>SUSE 7.1 and USB Modem ??</title>

      <description>Hi, I am having no luck getting my linux programs to 'see' my usb modem. when I do 'lsusb' I can see device 002 on bus 001.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also added a line to my rc.config file as suggested by a guide on the suse website...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;USB_DRIVERS="acm"&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also did the following to re-link the device file...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;rm /dev/modem&lt;BR /&gt;ln -s /dev/ttyACM0 /dev/modem&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My modem is a ST Microelectronics 'Pegasus' USB modem 56K. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are these supported?&lt;BR /&gt;Can I make it work?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any info much appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ed.</description>

      <description>Checkout &lt;A href="http://www.linux-usb.org/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.linux-usb.org/&lt;/A&gt; !&lt;BR /&gt;They have all the information on USB on Linux, including a list of working and non-working devices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The second thing to check is, whether the device is claimed by any of the installed drivers. Check /proc/bus/usb/devices to find out.</description>
