topic HP CD-RW PCMCIA Card in Operating System - Linux

I am looking for a Linux driver for the HP CD-RW
PCMCIA card that comes with the M820e CD R/W. I have been to the Linux support
web sites and found no specific information. Does anybody know which drivers
will make this device functional?

Thanks

Karl Boles

The PCMCIA adapter uses an unsupported chip-set from KME (Kyushu Matsushita
Electronics) / Panasonic. This card is currently not supported under Linux.

The CD-RW drive itself uses a standard SCSI-2 interface and should work with
any supported SCSI controller.

See this site for the latest PCMCIA drivers and a list of supported devices:

ftp://sourceforge.org/pcmcia
