    <description>To my knowledge, there is currently no linux support for the Riptide audio &lt;BR /&gt;card, although 4Front seems to indicate that they are working to support it &lt;BR /&gt;under their OSS product. There is no Riptide driver/module for Linux available &lt;BR /&gt;for Download from HP.</description>

      <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;i bought a pavilion 8509 and tried to install linux.&lt;BR /&gt;unfortunately no drivers for riptide sound card were available. i searched on &lt;BR /&gt;the web and found out that Constantin Lazarev &lt;CONST_LAZAREV&gt; had &lt;BR /&gt;developed drivers for the riptide soundcard. on mailing i found out that he had &lt;BR /&gt;sent it to hp and could download it from their site. i couldnt find it at their &lt;BR /&gt;site.&lt;BR /&gt;HELP ME..&lt;/CONST_LAZAREV&gt;</description>
