I think you might need to tell us what printer it is and what print system you are using (I always suggest people use "cups"). Also, it might be the software you are using to print. Please reply with some more details.

Regards

Well, it seems that the form feed character is not being intepreted by the printer. I don't know this printer so I can only really suggest you have a look at "cups"

http://www.cups.com

The drivers for the printers it supports are spot on.

I agree with Mark. I fooled with LPRng briefly a couple of years ago and had similar problems when printing from certain applications. I switched to CUPS and have never looked back!

Bruce

Any body knows in CUPS if my current application (LPRng) uses this sintax to send printing command to Epson LQ 2180 :

The following sintax in LPRng:
Printer10cpi:chr(27) + chr(80)
Printer12cpi:chr(27) + chr(77)
Printer15cpi:chr(27) + chr(103)
PrinterReset:chr(27) + chr(64)

How does those in CUPS???

George,

I am not completely sure but cups is supposed to be 100% compatible with "lp" apart from a couple of rarely used functions.
