      <title>Cannot FTP</title>

      <description>dear experts,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Currenlty our company have 2 server.&lt;BR /&gt;Server DL380G7 install with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 and another server RX6600 install HP-UX 11.31.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now the problem was I cannot ftp from Rx6600 to DL380. Ping both server can, got reply.&lt;BR /&gt;If i ftp from linux to Hp-ux can ftp but from Hp-Ux to linux cannot ftp.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How solve this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please advised.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which type of FTP service you are running in the Linux Server vsftp or gssftp?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You have to verify FTP server service is running in the linux server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can check it from the linux server by the following command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;netstat -an | grep "21"&lt;BR /&gt;telnet localhost 21&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also verify there is no firewall is blocking the FTP port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Manoj K&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
