NC522SFP Dual Port 10GbE Server Adapter Firmware Hang under RHEL 5.6

Good morning everyone

This past weekend the nic in a Hp Dl380 G7 failed with a firmware hang and it was noted through the messages file . Is this a known firmware bug for V4.0.534 of the firmwareand if so what is the workaround . The exact errors are as follows :
