topic any examples on using snmpdelta? in Operating System - Linux

Hi all:

I'm working primarily with RHEL5 systems.

I came across the snmpdelta command and it looks like it has potential. More so for querying HPUX systems.

Question. Is there an interval switch/option to the snmpdelta command? Example, if I run the snmpdelta command as follows; snmpdelta -v 2c -c public -Cp 5 -CP 5 $HOST .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.9

I get stats but the command keeps running.

Is the command suppose to stay running in the background? Or is there an interval setting that allows the snmpdelta command to execute n number of times and then quit?

What are some other examples of using the snmpdelta command?

Many thanks!
