BOOT_ADMIN

Hope I'm in the right place.

I'm currently trying to boot my HP 9000 715 workstation across the lan.

When I enter "boot lan" it invokes bootp to get an IP address from the bootp server - no probs. I understood that it then should do a tftp "get" to bring the lifimage kernel binary across from the tftp server. At this point, however it just stops and gives a boot failure message. I have tested the tftp service using a different machine and it works fine. Am I using the wrong file transfer software?

Any other ideas?

Ta

ML
