    <description>Ivan, Thank you for the response, sorry about the delay. I noticed that the modified file is actually seen if I cat or vi or more but the filesize doesn't appear to be same before I do though. Once I touch, vi, cat or more that file, then if I do ls -al then the modified file size is showing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I see in messages file like the ntpd: sendto(time.nyst.gov): Bad file descriptor&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What do you think the issue is?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I noticed that the file name with four letters will modify in the NFS client, but beyond four letters it doesn't work. For an instance if I modify the file name tttt, then it updates in the Server A. But when I modify with the filename ttttt, then server A doesn't work. I mean can't see the changed file on Server A.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any solution will get highest points....</description>

      <description>I don't think that the file name should be related. Try exporting with the sync parameter. Also, Â¿what NFS version is using the nfs server and client?</description>

      <description>Okay, I fixed the bad descriptor issue but still the file size doesn't change for the modified file in NFS.</description>
