Hi

In our office we are using virtual machine suddenly someone shutdown the linux server. I want to which ip address guy shutdown the machine ?

Shalom,

A virtual machine can be shut from within, e.g. its own IP address or it can be shut down with a command from its parent system.

To figure this out, look at /var/log/messages

you can use this command: last -d | head
