    <description>Hello Nishant,&lt;BR /&gt;i believe there is no such settings on linux / windows side,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this can be done on network end router / switch configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;are you also handeling router / switch, &lt;BR /&gt;or you have network team over there,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;better take advice from network team regarding this, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have two servers, one window and another linux, with IP 10.14.32.61 and 10.14.31.160 and i can access (ping and ssh both) linux machine from window machine within subnet. &lt;BR /&gt;But from outside of subnet say 10.14.33.154, i am able to access window machine but unable to ping or ssh to linux machine. i want to access my linux machine from outside of subnet as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anybody help me with detailed steps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Kumar Nishant</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the gateway IP address of the system outside the subnet.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Most likely the router or network is not configured to carry the traffic of the gateway address is set incorrectly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>The default route has not been set on the linux machine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You'll need to find out what your network's default route is from the windows machine.  This can be done by opening opening a command line, entering "ipconfig", and looking for the entry called "default gateway".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once you have that IP address, open a console and type in the following command: "route add default gw &lt;IP address="" of="" default="" router=""&gt;".&lt;/IP&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;&amp;gt; The default route has not been set on the linux machine.&lt;BR /&gt;this would only affect the outgoing packets. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what are your network settings exactly?&lt;BR /&gt;(IP/netmask/GW for both machines?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what is the setting of the machine outside the netmask? (IP/netmask/GW)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what is your network topology? what active/passive devices do you have between the machines?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
