    <description>*nod* yup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the HPASM RPM's are nice enough to re-compile off the kernel source if the current kernel doesn't already have existing compiled modules.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You just have to remember to update the kernel source when updating the kernel in future.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;   I just updated a dl to kernel 2.4.20-24.7smp ( stock RedHat ).   hpasm doesnt install correctly on this.  Somebody knows when new drivers and agents will be out ??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Those drivers are verified on a kernel by kernel basis.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP doesn't even bother to certify them all, just major stable kernel releases.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It could be weeks, could be months.  It might not be at all, but that seems unlikely.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Even if a kernel breaks the driver ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyway, I just had to install kernel-source-2.4.20-24.7.i386.rpm and life is good.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
