Ldap replication error

am configuring ldap-lightweight directory access protocol.
Normal ldap configuration is working fine,(i.e) ldap server, client.

When i try to configure my ldap for replication (i.e) for master, slave,i got some error.

I had configured master slapd.conf and slave slapd.conf as well as master ldap.conf and slave ldap.conf.

I think that i had done the configuration part correctly.Any way i will be sending you these files for reference.

And to check the replication i copied the database directory from master to slave manually.
then i created a test user in master but it was not showing in slave.

And nothing has been found in replication logs.it was empty.
so please help me,bcos i have been trying this for long time.

So am attaching my configuration files which i had changed.

Have you tried Fedora Directory Server? It's a excelent ldap server with multimaster option. You should try FDS. Replication is very easy to configure.

While endorsing the previous post I also might think it helpful to change example.com configuration to the actual domain name in your ldap master.

The error you get starting slurpd tells you what your first problem is. "-f" is used to specify a path to slapd.conf. "-r" is what you'd want to use if you're specifying the replog, but I don't think you need to specify it on the command line if you have it listed in slapd.conf. You probably also don't need to specify the path to slapd.conf if it's in the standard location.

By the way, it's usually a good idea to mask out IP addresses and password hashes when you post logs and config files.
