OSPF configuration for the virtual ip assingned in the LInux PC

Hi,

I have assingned a Virtual IP on the linux PC for the eth0 interface.
And i have configured the router with ospf
But i am not able to ping the virtual ip from router or from any PC connected to the router

Shalom,

From system console

ifconfig -a

See if it shows up as configured at all.

If not, reconfigure. If yes, check for errors in gateway and other related settings.

Also check for duplicate IP addresses.
