    <description>Over in the origial, misplaced, post in the hpux forum I speculate that this is an issue with speed-mismatch between the sender at 1G and (something between the sender and) the reciever at 100BT.</description>

      <description>Hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;I am using netperf 2.4.4 on 2 linux boxes.&lt;BR /&gt;TCP_STREAM tests shows a throughput of 93Mb/sec.&lt;BR /&gt;Problem is with the UDP_STREAM, where the packet drop rate is close to 100% as shown below&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;netperf -t UDP_STREAM -H &lt;IP&gt; -l 20 -- -s 128K -S 128K -m 32K -M 32K&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;UDP UNIDIRECTIONAL SEND TEST from 0.0.0.0 (0.0.0.0) port 0 AF_INET to 16.138.181.45 (16.138.181.45) port 0 AF_INET : histogram : interval : demo&lt;BR /&gt;Socket  Message  Elapsed      Messages&lt;BR /&gt;Size    Size     Time         Okay Errors   Throughput&lt;BR /&gt;bytes   bytes    secs            #      #   10^6bits/sec&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;262142   32768   20.00       72914      0     955.61&lt;BR /&gt;262142           20.00           3              0.04&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any clues for why this behavior?&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you&lt;BR /&gt;Mahesh&lt;/IP&gt;</description>
