      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;to check mttr&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cat /proc/mttr&lt;BR /&gt;and I have attached a c program that will also&lt;BR /&gt;show mttr &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But I thing that your problem is probably bios related ...the messages in your message seem to point to this &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I just remember where i got tge c program from&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you do a locate mttr you will probably find something like&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#locate mtrr&lt;BR /&gt; /usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.4.20/mtrr.txt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the kernel version may be different&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have attached mtrr.txt here in case you dont find this on your system &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;J-P&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>There must be some setting up to do in your bios to enable the use of the 2 cpu's' and registers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is your model of your machine and the version of bios that you are using, and if you have already check theses what did this reveal ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;J-P &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
