    <description>Are you using both network ports on the NC7170 on the servers, I have had issues when both ports are plugged in to the same switch, Also check that BIOS settings for the PCI bus, Make sure Bus Mastering is OFF, If it it try switching it ON. A few experiments to try.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope that helps</description>

      <title>NC7170 problems on DL380 G1</title>

      <description>We have 7 DL380's the same apart from software ie one exchange server, one sql server, one file server one Domain Controller.  OS Win2000 sp3 across the board.  Connects into 3com superstack 3 switch 3870 48 port.  this port is connected via 6 cat6 cables in star topology to other 3com 10/100 switches.  Since putting in the NC7170 we have experianced dropped connections between software and SQL, problems installing the cards in some of the servers - they just wont recognise them, overall performance issues.  The print server is slow to respond. Any pointers would be greatfully recieved.</description>
