xhost + does not work

hi all,

I am solving following problem - I am not able to launch GUI on remote box even if I set xhost + on local and have done export DISPLAY=10.3.0.17:0.0

result is always:
sladky@lucie:~$ xclock
Error: Can't open display: 10.3.0.17:0.0

(firewall is not running)

does annybody have some idea ?

already ready ;-)

/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER_TCP_PORT_6000_OPEN="yes"

if you use gdm than disable it in security tab
