I have a server

I log on as root.

I type hostname

answer teleaviv

I wish to change this to telaviv.investmenttool.com

I want to be fully qualified.

If this were possible under HP-UX, I would change the hostname in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf

Where do I do it in linux?

Thanks.

Points will be awarded liberally.

I apologize for posting in a non-applicable thread, but I lost the orignal one, since I'm a newbie.

Just wanted to thank Mr. Protter for helping get my first Linux install to work on Suse by reminding us how to get into the command line via YaST
