I want migration all mail box with all messages from Exchange 2000 server to Postfix server on Unix System.
Which are the steps to make?

If I were you, I would look into Openexchange ( http://www.novell.com/products/openexchange/ ) and Ximian Connector ( http://www.novell.com/news/press/archive/2004/05/pr04034.html )
There are other solutions, too, but these are the closest to Exchange that I know about.

As for using postfix .. there is plenty of documentation on the postfix site (http://www.postfix.org) and more info & life support can be obtained on irc (irc.freenode.net, channel #postfix).
If you have a more specific question rather then the general "which steps to make " (to which the straight answer would be a) read the docs b) export old mail c) install postfix d) import mail) please do not hesitate to ask.

Also consider running the postfix with a database for storing access to users, mailboxes, aliases, etc. This way, the mail users does not need to have a system account on your unix machine.

I tried a combination of Postfix MTA, Courier IMAP and MySQL. It was a bit of a job, but once installed it worked very nicely.

Google around for it - there are several implementations.

Also, in the Postfix install somewhere there are example configs for this. In case you are trying, you are strongly encouraged to read these. It seems the Postfix guys have been more interested in the DB adoption the last year, so look around for latest developments if the howtos are a bit outdated.

Replaces MS-Exchange very easily.
