      <description>Pam is a good, encrypted authentication program.  Since it runs on multiple platforms it allows you to centralize authentication to some degree.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A combination of LDAP and PAM could let you create a single sign on that works on Linux, HP-UX, other UNIX distributions, and a Microsoft Windows Domain controller.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Cool Authentication !!! , Crossplatform.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One User One password.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check that the smb.conf has encrypted pasword = off, because default 2000 clients have unencrypted passwords.(or change the windows reg .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And if it works don't forget to dance the REAL SAMBA Dude...</description>
