      <description>you could try using mii-tool if it's on your system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mii-tool -v to check the nic card&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And to change settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mii-tool -F 100baseTx-HD eth0&lt;BR /&gt;mii-tool -F 100baseTx-FD eth0&lt;BR /&gt;mii-tool -F 10baseT-HD eth0&lt;BR /&gt;mii-tool -F 10baseT-FD eth0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;George&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
