    <description>I have used the same card under 7.2 (or was it 7.3? don't remember) and don't remember having any problems out of the box. Did you add the card after you installed redhat? Have you tried simply running Xconfigurator?</description>

      <description>hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;i've got a problem with starting x server for red hat 7.2 (on the machine with fx 5200). the only communicate i get is "screen not found". the most up to date drivers straight from nvidia were installed, but the problem continues.&lt;BR /&gt;did any of you have similar experience?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>As far as I remember with Nvidia drivers you have to have the kernel sources and then compile the "GLX" part of the drivers and then compile the "Kernel" part.  Have you done this?&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;After compiling, the makefile attempts to load the moduke.  Did you get an error?&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Try "lsmod" and see if the Nvidia module is loaded.  If it is, run "startx" and see if anything exciting happens.</description>
