cannot install cisco vpn client on SUSE 9.1

hi

I' ve tried to install cisco vpn client
vpnclient-linux-4.0.Rel-k9.tar.gz on linux SUSE
9.1 but get a lot of errors:

under SuSE 8.2 works fine and I didn't have any
problems.

I'll try to install the newest vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.B-k9.tar.gz
but cannot find on the internet to download it.
some download webseits ask for user and password.

Sounds like cisco vpn may have dependencies that are not installed. A later version probably won't help in that case; you'll need the packages vpn depends upon.

vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.B-k9.tar.gz ?

with

vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.A-k9.tar.gz

doesn't work.

if someone could post a download link,
will be great.

I have seen serveral articles that the current cisco VPN client is not support on the 2.6 Kernel

Either the client does not recognize your processor or kernel.

This is a very particular piece of software. It might not like the 2.6 kernel, it might not like the way you are thinking at install time.

Seriously, you can not install this client on a machine that does not conform EXACTLY to the specs.

It works on Suse 8.2 because it was certified and tested on Suse 8.2

I found somewhere in the Internet

vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.B-k9.tar.gz

I've installed and it works very well now.
this one supports Kernel 2.6 !
