      <description>i am using redhat 7.1. my HOSTNAME is "ns.lx01.com" and hosts file entry is - &lt;BR /&gt;11.11.11.11 ns.lx01.com ns  www mail #(with Alices)&lt;BR /&gt;127.0.0.1 localhost&lt;BR /&gt;and my dns has entry -&lt;BR /&gt;NS ns.lx01.com.&lt;BR /&gt;MX 10 mail.lx01.com.&lt;BR /&gt;lx01.com.  A   11.11.11.11 (*)&lt;BR /&gt;ns A 11.11.11.11&lt;BR /&gt;mail CNAME ns.lx01.com.&lt;BR /&gt;www CNAME ns.lx01.com.&lt;BR /&gt;localhost 127.0.0.1 (**)&lt;BR /&gt;pls confirm me is this correct specialy *** mark&lt;BR /&gt;and do i need to add . end of localhost A entry?</description>

      <description>but if i enter lx01 11.11.11.11 without and ending .,&lt;BR /&gt;it should lx01.lx01.com but i wants my dns name is lx01.com on ip 11.11.11.11,&lt;BR /&gt;is this so?&lt;BR /&gt;and pls confirm me do i need to add localhost 127.0.0.1&lt;BR /&gt;adn do i have to end with .,&lt;BR /&gt;i mean: localhost. A 127.0.0.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what about my hosts file name entry.</description>
