    <description>Is there a way to connect to and use a(n) MS Access MBD file withour having to have to use ODBC? Basically connect like you do in ASP (using ms jet).</description>

      <description>I've never heard of any outside using DBI and DBD::ODBC.  The CPAN doesn't show any that I can find either.</description>

      <description>Perhaps if MS was a bit more forthcoming with their API's..., but in a word, no.  How locked are you to access?</description>

      <description>The server I am using does have MySQL, unfortunately they are not giving access to store any DBs (and we have asked). right now the database is in the form of text (and for obvious reasion we are trying to migrate). So to answer your question, completely locked :( and unfortunately, we do not have and DSN sources available :(</description>
