(This is for security, bandwidth, and stability. Not to mention that they'll handle all the Secondary stuff too!).<BR /><BR />In any case, the basic details you've shown us should work for forward DNS (name-to-IP). I'm using BIND version 8 and I have a fixed IP(219.93.229.166) given by my ISP and i have already registered this IP(with hostname ns.example.com) with my nic domain registrar.Attached are the the network info. of the linux machine which i want it to be my dns server, and also the contents of my named.conf.
